Dave I have an idea Maciulis
Owner of Natural Landscape Inc.

Dave is the creative genius and principle designer of Natural Landscape Inc., bringing over twenty years of landscape industry wisdom and experience to every project he touches.

Dave, never satisfied with the status quo, endeavors to take everything he touches and make it better. His passion won’t be limited by the small town he operates from, so he uses his “ADHD power” to take the average small-town business and make it available to the masses on the World Wide Web. Whether he designs in-house or through his cyber design service he spends his days rescuing landscapes, one home at a time. Next stop world domination!

From simple to extravagant, Dave loves any challenge. He’s not afraid to fly beyond traditional and create unique outdoor-living environments for his clients.

In office, Dave presents as a metrosexual designer with his European manbag and iPad in hand, although he finds it a challenge to know which designer shirt to wear over his “stealth abs” (washboard stomach hidden under 3 inches of belly fat). In the field, he’s more likely to wear Carhartt work pants, steel toe boots and carry a shovel. Dirt and sweat are not foreign to Dave and he will be in the trenches to ensure that every project is completed properly – quality control is at the top of his list.

Dave’s won numerous awards for both himself and local landscapers and has appeared as an expert on TV shows such as “Backyard Pleasures” and “Til Debt do us Part”. He also publishes a Canada-wide landscape magazine to inspire homeowners about outdoor living. www.naturallandscapemagazine.com

Chantel Passionista Pintos
Senior Designer and Chocolate Connoisseur

Chantel is secretly the brains of the entire firm and feeds the team daily through her creative niche.   Her passion for design is equal to that of her passions for chocolate and travel. She brings to the table her world travels, from Central America to Europe, which she draws upon to create inspired designs for our clients.

Chantel mentored with Dave in 2000 and then, after college, worked for other construction firms where she gained valuable industry experience. She returned to Natural Landscape in 2006, bringing a sound understanding of construction principles. Contractors associated with Natural Landscape respect her for her knowledge. Don’t let her good looks fool you; Chantel has the ability to bring a design from concept to completion.

To Chantel design is design, whether in a landscape plan, a new flavor of chocolate or in picking an outfit that allows Dave to fit into society. If it weren’t for her Dave would look ridiculous at the formal functions they attend. Her passions for design, fashion, and cuisine really make Chantel an elite design comrade in the firm.

Steffan Harriss
Designer / 3D Visual Master

Steffan is a man of few words but is one of the strongest links in the design firm’s presentations. He can take any two-dimensional drawing and create awesome three-dimensional video effects. Easily motivated with a bag of Miss Vickies potato chips, Steffan can show you the layout for your outdoor kitchen or patio and place you in an animation lounging poolside or flipping steaks in your new yard. His final presentations never fail to leave clients in awe.

A graduate of Fanshawe College, Steffan brings a new vitality and working understanding of current technology and digital media to the office. He has an eye for the social networking ladder and helps maintain Natural Landscape’s social profile in today’s web based world. lol J

Steffan aspires to be on Canada’s debate team for 2015 but for now, he remains here to work quietly on the firm’s next design challenge.

Brie Jarrett
Office Manager and Dave’s Consigliore

Brie plays an integral role in the company’s success. From preventing Chantel buying daily company lunches at local restaurants to financial advisor curbing Dave’s spending addiction, she has a full-time job watching over the office.

Her tolerance for Dave’s ADHD has enabled her to be a pillar for Natural Landscape. Her talent to keep Dave “in line”, especially with his new idea to publish a Canada-wide landscape magazine, is greatly valued.

Brie is the Stylist Editor for the magazine, finds joy in organizing projects and loves a labeler. Combine all these with her drive for ongoing company development and that makes her a force to be reckoned with (refer to Dave’s goal for world domination).
