“Our decision to completely renew the landscape design of our back yard was driven by the need to remove an aging inground swimming pool. There were lots of things that we didn’t like about the arrangement of our back yard so this presented us with the perfect opportunity to get things right.

We knew that we would need a landscape designer with imagination, creativity and the ability to listen well to our requirements. We met Dave Maciulis during our designer selection process and, once presented with his concept sketches, we knew that we had found our designer. We also knew that we would be taking on a multi year project so one of our requirements was to create a design that could be delivered in stages but would be fully functional and enjoyable after the first stage.

Dave met that requirement in spades and we are thrilled with the results of stage 1.

Presenting us with a great design was a good first step, but Dave’s real test came during the delivery phase of our project. The summer of our backyard reno turned out to be one of the wettest summers in recent memory. While this resulted in an unavoidable delay to completion of our project it had no affect on either the quality of the workmanship or the professional nature of Dave’s landscape crew.

Are we pleased with the results to date? Yes, absolutely. Are we looking forward to undertaking future phases with Dave? Yes, without a doubt. Would we recommend Dave and his crew to anyone else? Yes, we would be pleased to do so.”
